This game is really great!

I honestly had so much fun with this one! Took me about four hours but I finished the demo. It's a very well-made and balanced RPG, and it reminded me of how much fun classic role-playing games can be, despite all its overdone tropes. The side quests are achievable, reward decently, and don't overstay their welcome. Puzzles aren't very challenging but are intuitive enough to not get stuck on. Music is good, battles can be tough but are fun and fair, mechanics are nothing particularly special but work very well and are engaging. I personally like the gem system, the only small annoyance being the color matching, but it seems to be a decently fair mechanic to me. The story is interesting and pushes the player to continue to discover more.

I didn't have many gripes, but I will say that the experience wasn't too different than many other classic RPGs. The story seems a bit dull at the moment, but maybe it isn't really the focus of the experience. It it is, I would suggest enhancing the characters and NPCs more to bring a bit more life to the narrative.

Going in I thought this game's main "gimmick" was going to be the whole dream thing, but I was a tad bit disappointed to find it didn't serve much of a purpose outside of opening the first dungeon. Without it, the experience is a little bit bland for me (but not too bland, as it is very fun!) I think it would be a little more unique if you really ran with the dream world idea... Maybe sleeping and going to the dream world has an effect in battle? Maybe there's a way to enhance the narrative and characters by highlighting the differences between dream and reality? If this is what you had in mind, please go for it in the full release!

Very very nice job guys, keep it up!

You're right that the story isn't the primary focus, but I’ll definitely work on bringing more life to the narrative.

Regarding the dreams, the first area of the game mainly introduces the feature without going much into it. However, as the game progresses, it becomes more integral to solving increasingly complex puzzles. But I agree that I should show the potential a bit more.

Thanks for the detailed review!

Ah okay. I'm glad to hear that the dream world and story will be expanded upon, excited to see more!
